Sometimes life creates opportunities that seem wonderful at first, but eventually become what they always were – not wonderful. Lust & Lawsuits is about Web Arrowsmith, an advertising executive that stepped in that ‘not wonderful’ pile of opportunity not once, but twice.

Despite warnings from his friends, he rebounded from his failed marriage into an affair with a powerful and married woman. He wrote her poems, painted paintings, and even wrote a book for her. The book’s success propelled her into divorcing her husband, dumping Web, and stealing all the earnings from the book.

The disconsolate ad man could not recover the earnings but he could file a lawsuit to secure sole ownership of the book’s copyright. He did not foresee his I.P. attorney being the woman that was meant for him until it was too late.
