When Clifton Brakemeyer solved the mystery of the Delta Elite, certain members of the criminal group named The Defenders of Jasoom escaped justice. Two years later someone from that group started killing people and destroying property as an act of revenge for the destruction of The Defenders of Jasoom.
Brakemeyer found himself in the middle of the revenge plot. The acts of murder and mayhem were communicated through letters with a hidden code. Each letter had the postage cancellation stamp from the Sloughhouse Post Office in Rancho Murieta south of Sacramento, California.
The Sloughhouse Letters carried the message of death and destruction. The secret code in the letters required discovery and decipherment to halt the killings and learn the identities of the assassins. Will justice find a way?
